Bikes in the Boathouse

Please be aware that all the bicycles in the club have been tagged on the wheel spokes with a little green tag!! When you next cycle home, please remove the tag.

This is to mark which of them have been abandoned at the club.

The club is not a bike warehouse and bicycles should be kept at home, and only left at Vesta while you are there, or if you cycle down in the mornings, go to work, return that evening to train and then cycle back.

We’re having a bit of a clean up over the Christmas period. If you’ve left your bicycle at the club for ages, and just not got around to taking it home, then please do so in the next few days.

Bicycles still left with a green tag on them, shall be assumed to have been abandoned and we are planning to dispose of them. (Auction them off and put the money in the boat fund)

There has been a notice on the Web site for a while now warning you of our intentions to dispose of abandoned bicycles. Please remove your bike, as we’d hate to sell a bike that someone still wants.
